I used this on my couch and it didn't leave any residue or smell like typical cleaning chemicals.
I have a little dog that refuses to stop peeing in the house, no matter what I try. I use this with the Bissell Stain Lifter, and it works great. It doesn't foam up, smells fresh and clean, and gets the carpet clean in one try, even on old stains. I use it as a pretreater too, diluted to the same strength as for the cleaner, and it's awesome.
We bought this solution for use with our Bissel "Little Green" spot cleaner. A stain removed, remains removed. We have allergies to fragrances, but no one has had a negative reaction to this product. With a busy family and an inconsistent training schedule, she's taking a while to get the hang of it.Until she does, this formula, when used with the portable cleaning machine is perfect. The de-odorizing properties, effective cleaning results, and inoffensive nature of the product give it an extra advantage over some of the others when used for any cleaning task. Cleaning power is excellent and stains are lifted out quite nicely. We have a puppy in training. It has a mild fragrance of its own, but it is pleasant and dissipates completely after drying.
It is, at the same time, a powerful cleaner and de-odorizer, and non-toxic, gentle to people and puppies. When used as directed, (I suggest following recommendations given for the machine), it cleans well, comes up well, and leaves no residue behind. Very important to us.Although specificaly recommended for use on pet stains and odors, I recommend this product for any cleaning use. IT REALLY DOES CLEAN WELL, AND WHEN USED PROPERLY, IT REALLY DOES ELIMINATE ODORS.
I have two dogs with the accompanying odors. This product works well on the stains and odors in my carpet as well as those little accidents that occasionally happen.
I bought this product to use in the Bissell Proheat Turbo Carpet Cleaning machine. This product was used on my sofa to remove urine from my daughter's puppy. After using the Bissell 799 Pet Odor and Stain Removal Formula, my sofa is clean and there is no trace of puppy smell left in the cushion.
